Hey there! I'm Wybren, a passionate Civil Engineering and Geo-Information Science double masters student with a focus on Water Management and Spatial Engineering. Born and raised in a small village close to Deventer, a city with it's center close to the IJssel river, I've always been captivated by the intersection of human infrastructure and natural water systems. Currently pursuing my degree at Wageningen University and Research, where i am following subjects related to the GIS domain. I am deeply enthusiastic about finding solutions to spatial challenges, especially in the water management related domain, so i hope to combine te knowledge gained from these two masters in the workfield.
World record attempt done by civil engineering students for the longest bridge made out of beercrates.
My bachelor's Thesis about the modelling of waterbalances in Python for Waterboard Vechtstromen.
For two years, i managed content for the Rivers2morrow Research project, set up by Rijkswaterstaat.
